What you should know
Numbers are shared and messages are public. Anyone with the inbox URL can read incoming SMS. Use temporary numbers for testing, throwaway sign-ups, and low-stakes verification - never for banking, primary email, wallets, or accounts you need to keep secure.
Not every app accepts public virtual numbers. Messaging platforms and financial services often block recycled lines. If verification fails, try a different country, another active number, or our service-specific flow.
